    How It Works

    The operational logic of territories and routing

    Each territory stores either a polygon boundary (GeoJSON) or a list of postal codes, plus an array of assigned contractor IDs. When a job is created, ServiceIQ geocodes its address and resolves the matching territory by point-in-polygon or postal-code lookup — surfacing the contractors already aligned to that region as suggested assignees.

    Coverage analytics aggregate active jobs and assigned contractors per territory in real time, flagging zones that are over-extended or under-served. Multi-tenant isolation keeps each organization's territory map private, even when contractors are shared across partner organizations.
